Specialization in "Orthopaedics and Traumatology" in 1979 (University of Bologna, 70/70)

Attending Surgeon at Rizzoli  from 1978 to 1988, Senior Surgeon till 1996. Charged as  responsible of  sub-unit of Oncologic Spine Surgery in the Department of  Bone Tumor Surgery directed by prof. Mario Campanacci.
Head of the Department of Spine Surgery at Istituto Santa Corona di Pietra Ligure (SV) from  april 22nd to september 21st 1996,
Head of the Department of Orthopedics and Traumatology Ospedale Maggiore in  Bologna from  september 1996 to september 5th 2009.
