She is member of the following professional societies: International Research Society of Spinal Deformities (IRSSD); European Spinal Deformities Society (ESDS); Gruppo Italiano Scoliosi (GIS) - Società di Patologia Vertebrale (Italian Group of Scoliosis – Society of Vertebral Pathology) (Member of the Managing Board); AO Spine, Italy (AOSIT).

Her main field of interest is the study and treatment of spinal deformities.
