Upon agreement with the Head of the structure, it is possible for students preparing for a degree to be accepted at the Laboratory on Implant Infections for internships and experimental theses in Medicine and Surgery, Bioengeneering, Biological Sciences, Biotechnologies, Pharmacy and CTF.

Requirements for conducting the experimental thesis at the Laboratory on Implant Infections of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute: previous experience in basic molecular biology techniques; good/fluent knowledge of the English Language; skilled use of Internet and medical literature databases such as PubMed. Availability to the attendance in the Laboratory at least 15 hours per week. Passing a preliminary interview.

On the same subjects, to a greater scientific in depth level, it is possible to conduct a PhD thesis within the PhD Course in Oncology and Experimental Pathology.

Is furthermore possible to conduct the compulsory vocational training for the free profession of Biologist.
