On Tuesday, May 14th, professor Robert Buly, orthopeadic surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery of New York and listed among “America’s Top Doctors”, held a debate with the specialists of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute on the subject of ankle arthroscopy.
“Buly is a pioneer: he tested innovative techniques which make him a point of reference for the international scientific community. We meet him in the context of the Ankle Arthroscopy school that we launched at the Rizzoli Institute, precisely to allow orthopedists to continuatively refine the accurate training needed to practice this technique. The school represents the first Italian experience in the field”, explains dr. Dante Dallari, promoter of the scientific meeting and Head of Rizzoli’s Conservative Orthopedic Surgery and Innovative Techniques.
Moderator of the meeting, taking place in the Vasari Room of the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute of Bologna (via Pupilli, 1 – Hospital Monumental Wing), is professor Maurilio Marcacci, Director of the Rizzoli’s 2nd Orthopaedic and Traumatologic Clinic.
