Research consultant at Movement Analysis Laboratory, Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli. 

Degree in Mechanic Engineering with specialization in Biomedical Engineering from University "Politecnico di Milano" with mark of 90/100.

Ph.D. gained from the faculty of Health and Life Sciences of Liverpool University (Liverpool, UK) with a thesis titled: “A study of the influence of walking speed on kinematics of the joints of the foot and on dynamics of the plantar aponeurosis”.

1999 – 2001: Network and security engineer at the E-business department of IBM Italy (Milan).

2001-2004: Engineer at the R&D department of Wright Cremascoli Ortho (Wright Medical Technology group, Milan, Italy). 

English - written and fluently spoken French/Spanish - intermediate spoken, good comprehension

Gait analysis instruments, such as motion cameras, force and pressure platforms, inertial sensors, EMG systems.

Servo-hydraulic testing machines; design of custom rigs for testing orthopedic implants.

Knowledge of most common operating systems; object-oriented programming; Matlab and Visual Basic; automatic processing and analysis of large data sets.

Demonstrator for the anatomical dissection class and lecturer for the School of Medicine (Liverpool University) course: “Functional Anatomy of the human locomotor system”. 

Attendance to several national and international meetings on lower limb and foot & ankle biomechanics. Publication of research papers and scientific reviewer for peerreviewed journal such as “Journal of Biomechanics” and “Gait & Posture”.
