Laboratory Technician Coordinator at the Musculoskeletal Cells and Tissue Bank – Blood Bank and Laboratory Prometheus; referent of training and risk management

Degree in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques.

• Since 2003 I hold the position of Coordinator and Health Care Professional Expert Collaborator of the CS Musculoskeletal Cells and Tissue Bank – Blood Bank. I am referent of budget and I also manage the Laboratory Technicians and the support staff of the Laboratory Prometheus.
• Since 2013 I am member of the Blood and Plasma Committee of the Central Wide Area of the Emilia-Romagna Region.
• I have been working in the Prometeo Laboratory as referent of training since 2012.
• I have been Laboratory Technician Coordinator Since 2001 and I hold an organizational position Since 2008.
• From 1993 to 2000 I had been working at the Blood Bank of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute.
• From 1991 to 1993 I had been working in a clinical laboratory as Laboratory Technician.

Fluent English, basic Spanish.

Good knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Acrobat and laboratory software.

Tutor of the course in Biomedical Laboratory Techniques, University of Bologna; lecturer at the master’s degree in “Nursing in orthopedics and traumatology” (laboratory diagnostics), University of Bologna.

Member of SIMTI (Italian Society of Blood Transfusion) and author of posters, abstracts and articles, also published on Blood Transfusion. I attended more than 120 training courses.
