The Rizzoli-Sicilia Department of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute consists of the following units:

• General Orthopedics (Giovanni Pignatti, MD)
• Functional Recovery and Rehabilitation (Silvana Sartini, MD)
• Anesthesia and intensive post-surgery therapy (Jacopo Frugiuele, MD)

The Rizzoli-Sicilia Department also provides a Day Surgery activity, currently limited to General Orthopedics (at a later stage, it will be also extended to Oncologic Orthopedics):
