The Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute is an ECM Provider accredited by the Emilia-Romagna Region (identification code no. PG20120131675). This recognition is valid for the accreditation of residential training events, FAD (Distance Training) and field training in the Emilia-Romagna Region.

The Institute provides highly professional services to its internal (directions, departments, professionals) and external (organizations, companies, and individuals) clients, focusing on the design and implementation of various types of training events, with the aim of promoting the growth of healthcare workers' skills throughout their professional lives.

The IOR ECM Provider consistently places Quality as the cornerstone of the pursuit of its mission.

The IOR ECM Provider is equipped with a Scientific Committee (CSP). It validates the Corporate Training Plan at the scientific level and, using an Executive Committee, ensures compliance with ECM requirements for the accreditation of training events, both delivered directly by the IOR Provider and accredited upon request by external clients/clients.

ECM Accreditation Services   

The IOR ECM Provider offers its operational support for all ECM delivery and accreditation activity. This activity includes:

Training design;
Collection of documentation relating to Teachers/Speakers;
Drafting of contracts with Teachers/Speakers;
Collection of documentation relating to conflicts of interest;
Attribution of training credits;
Preparation, printing and subsequent correction of learning assessment questionnaires;
Preparation, printing and subsequent verification of approval evaluation questionnaires;
Sending data to accrediting bodies (Emilia-Romagna Region and Cogeaps);
Issuance and sending of ECM certificates to students and teachers;
Storage and preservation of ECM documents for 5 years.
