It carries out clinical and surgical activities in the field of adolescent and adult vertebral pathologies, with particular interest in:
• idiopathic scoliosis of adolescents and adults;
• spondylolisthesis, Scheuermann's hyperkyphosis and alterations in vertebral balance;
• degenerative spinal pathologies, vertebral stenosis and herniated disc;
• minimally invasive and computer-assisted surgery for vertebral pathologies;
• hip and knee prosthetic surgery.
He has experience in vertebral deformity surgery, surgical planning, and orthotic and surgical treatment of scoliosis in pediatric and adolescent age.

He has participated in national and international courses and cadaver labs in vertebral and prosthetic surgery. Among the main experiences:
• SRS Current Concepts in Spine Deformity Course, Prague, 2017;
• Adult Spinal Deformity Fundamental Surgeon Course, Manchester, 2016;
• MIS-TLIF Cadaveric Training Program, Leiden, 2018;
• Spineart Academy International Course on Spinal Deformity, Geneva, 2019;
• Spine Academy and Advanced Practical Courses in Cervical Surgery, ICLO Teaching and Research Center, 2021-2023.
He is a member of the Italian Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SIOT), the Italian Society of Vertebral Surgery and the Italian Scoliosis Group (SICV&GIS) and AO Spine.

• elective course “Medicine in developing countries”, Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery, University of Bologna, academic years 2015/2016 and 2016/2017;

• tutoring in advanced courses in surgical anatomy and applied biomechanics of the rachis and cadaver lab;
• tutoring at the Summer School in Hip Surgery, Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute and University of Bologna, 2018.
• Author or co-author of 45 scientific publications in indexed national and international journals.
• Author or co-author of over 120 scientific contributions presented at national and international conferences, of which at least 25 as speakers.
