Hospital Admissions
To carry out a standard hospitalization, citizens can access the planned health care through the Model E112 or S2, issued by the health authority of the country of origin. In this case the patient is treated as if he belonged to the National Health Service, that is, he does not pay the admission.
The different types of hospitalization are:
1. Standard admission, standard hotel comfort;
2. Standard admission, deluxe hotel comfort;
3. Private admission, standard hotel comfort;
4. Private admission, deluxe hotel comfort.
Information about the request of Hospital admission:
Citizens have to send an email to presteco@ior.it or call the numbers 051-6366427 (in Italian language) from 10.00 to 12.30 from Monday to Friday and +39-051-6366628 (in English language) from 10.30 to 13.00 from Monday to Friday.
Information on payment methods:
The patient has to pay the hospitalization, based on the type of performance and hospitalization required, before entering the hospital. Payment must be made by bank transfer in euro and with all bank charges paid (including those of the bank-treasurer of the institution):

Medical visits
Booking and costs in standard regime:
Calling 800 884 888 (for those who call from Italy) or +39-051-4206294 (for those who call from outside Italy) from Monday to Friday from 7.30 to 17.30 (and Saturday from 7.30 to 12.30).
The cost of the visit is € 23.00 plus any diagnostic tests carried out at the time of the visit (€ 27.80 or more depending on the examination). The amount must be paid directly to the Automatic Ticket Office on the day of the visit.
Reservation and costs under the Liberal Profession:
All citizens (EU and non-EU) can access the visits under the Liberal Profession by calling 800 046 040 (calls from Italy) or +39-051-4206294 (calls from outside Italy) Visits under the Liberal Profession with the possibility of choosing the doctor to see) require the payment of a fee.
The cost of the visit varies, depending on the doctor chosen, from 60.00 to 250.00 € plus any diagnostic tests carried out at the time of the visit (27.80 € or more depending on the examination). The amount must be paid directly to the Automatic Ticket Cashier on the day of the visit. Visits under the Free Profession are only made in the afternoon.
