Positions held

Since 2014 he has been working at the RAMSES Laboratory in order to implement the ISO 9001 quality management system and, from 2020, the Accreditation of the RIT Department (Rete Alta Tecnologia dell'Emilia-Romagna).

From 2005 to 2013 she has worked as "Head of Production" for somatic cell therapy products at the Cell Factory, Musculoskeletal Tissue Bank of the Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute. Initially, the activity consisted in the development of methods for culturing human chondrocytes in cleanroom, according to the "Good Manufacturing Practice" (GMP). Since September 2006, the validated process of culturing chondrocytes on scaffolds has been applied, with the purpose of autologous implantation, on many patients of the hospital.

From 1999 to 2005 she has worked as a research fellow/associate mainly in the field of musculoskeletal tissue cell culture for applications in regenerative medicine and rheumatology at the Laboratory of Immunology and Genetics, Research Institute Codivilla Putti-Rizzoli Orthopaedic Institute. She has also applied cell culture methods at the Laboratory of Molecular Medicine and Neuroscience, National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), Bethesda, Maryland, USA, where she focused her activity on cell line development.

Knowledge of Operating Systems for PCs and of Office applications.

Teaching activities

She has held positions as a contract professor for the course of Cell Culture Laboratory within the Degree in Biotechnology at the University of Bologna. She is assistant supervisor for degree theses.

Scientific activities
She has published several articles on impact factor/indexed journals in the fields of rheumatology, tissue engineering, regenerative medicine and 3D printing.
She has contributed to the writing of e-books.
She has attended several national and international congresses, also with podium presentations or posters.
She has attended several specialistic courses, also as a teacher.
